The purpose of this music video is to promote Sam Smith's song "Im Not the Only One." The song is about a wife that knows her husband is having an affair and she is really hurt by it, but she doesn't leave him because she loves him. The purpose of this video is to advertise this song to viewers so they can hear it then purchase it on music website such as iTunes, but also to express Sam Smith's feelings, as many of his songs are wrote by him as he is trying to express his experiences in relationships.
